Come along to our certified organic farm and enjoy a wonderful farm animal experience.

On this experience you will

• Cuddle, feed and pat our dairy goats and kids.
• Feed and pat our babydoll sheep and learn about their use on the farm.
• Cuddle and even bottle feed a lamb.
• Learn about and feel the difference in the wool between our dorpers and babydoll sheep.
• Feed and cuddle chickens, even Buddy, our Buff Orpington rooster if you’d like!
• Learn about different chicken breeds and the different coloured eggs they lay, even blue eggs!
• Check for eggs.
• Cuddle some chicks.
• Feed the ducks.
• Throw feed to the geese and learn about their use on the farm.
• See some guinea pigs and learn how we use them on the farm.
• Feed hay to our guernsey cow and her 3 big calves and Iearn about Guernsey cows.
• Enjoy some farm games

What to bring

You will be outdoors, so please come prepared for any weather, including waterproof clothing, a hat and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. The Giving Farm is a working Farm, you will be around animals so you MUST wear closed toed shoes.

Weather

This event will go ahead in all weather except storms. You will be refunded in the event of a storm.

Shoe Wash and Biosecurity Information

All visitors to the farm are required to step through a discinfectant shoe bath. This is required as part of our organic certification and at the moment with the threat of Foot and Mouth disease on Australia’s door step, it is extra important. To understand the seriousness of FMD, if it is detected in any animal they will be euthanized. Under the recommendation of our vets and the DPI, if you have been to Indonesian countries, including Bali, we unfortunately cannot have you on the farm for 14 days.
